Islandjournalz is a small, independently run local business based on Kenyatta Avenue in Nakuru, Kenya. Founded in 2019, we offer professional consultations, appointment coordination, and a curated range of locally sourced products to residents and entrepreneurs across Nakuru County. Our work is genuinely local — not a national brand with a regional office, but a team of three to six people who live within the city limits and understand the specific textures of life here. We serve individuals who want reliable, accountable service and small business owners who need practical support without corporate overhead. Our azure-inspired identity — clean lines, clear communication, a sense of calm and trust — reflects the way we try to work: no clutter, no noise, no vague promises. When you engage with us, you know what you're getting and when you're getting it.
Our process starts with listening. Every new client gets a short discovery call — usually fifteen minutes — before we recommend anything. We've completed over 200 service engagements since 2019, and the ones that worked best were the ones where we took the time to understand the actual situation rather than jumping to a ready-made solution. We work Monday to Saturday, with core hours that cover the Nakuru working week without making you feel like a chore.
